Light and shadows in the Stretton Hills
At last - the picture I have been waiting for! Hope Bowdler Hill is on the right, with Caer Caradoc in the background.
I came across this view while out on a walk a few months ago, but the conditions weren’t quite right.
I wanted light on Caradoc and the Gaer Stone, but needed shadows on Hope Bowdler Hill and also behind the trees in the foreground to make them stand out.
Suffice to say that it was a long cold wait in the winter sunshine, but I finally got my shot.
